Jérémy Jacquet

Jérémy Jacquet serves as a central defender for Rennes, bringing both physical presence and tactical awareness to the back line. Standing at 190 cm and weighing 77 kg, he possesses a commanding stature that allows him to excel in aerial duels and defensive challenges. Jacquet's right-footed playstyle is characterized by his ability to read the game effectively, which is evident in his season stats, where he has recorded 22 interceptions over 21 appearances. In the current season, Jacquet has averaged a rating of 6.83, indicating solid performances as he transitions into a more prominent role within the first team. His contributions go beyond mere defensive responsibilities; he has also provided 9 key passes, showcasing his ability to initiate attacks from the back and contribute to the team's offensive movements. While his tackle count is relatively low at just 2, this may reflect a focus on positioning and interception rather than aggressive challenges. As a young player at just 20 years old, Jacquet is still developing his game, but his current form suggests he is making valuable strides in his role. With a contract extending until June 2029, there is a clear opportunity for him to grow and establish himself further in the top tier of French football.
