Jay Robinson

Jay Robinson is currently making his mark as a left winger for Southampton. At 19 years old, he has showcased his potential through 33 appearances this season, contributing 3 goals and 1 assist. Robinson stands at 176 cm and weighs 65 kg, providing him with a balanced physical profile that enables agility and pace on the wing. His preferred right foot allows him to cut inside effectively, creating opportunities for both himself and his teammates. This season, Robinson has demonstrated a solid understanding of his role, averaging a rating of 6.69 over 1,064 minutes of play. While his goal tally may not be high, he has managed to register 10 key passes, indicating his ability to contribute to the team's attacking efforts. His limited defensive contributions, with just 1 tackle and 5 interceptions, suggest he is more focused on offensive duties, using his speed and dribbling skills to stretch defenses. Having transitioned from the Southampton U21 team to the first team in 2025, Robinson is beginning to establish himself in a competitive environment. As he continues to gain experience, his role as a creative winger will be crucial for Southampton as they look to develop their attacking options.
