Janne Sietan

Janne Sietan plays as a central defensive midfielder for Waldhof Mannheim, bringing a solid presence to the team's midfield. Standing at 185 cm, his physical stature allows him to effectively contest aerial duels and provide a strong defensive shield in front of the backline. With a preferred right foot, he is capable of distributing the ball efficiently, contributing to the team's build-up play. In the current season, he has made 31 appearances, demonstrating a commitment to his role with significant playing time of 2506 minutes. While he has recorded only one assist, his primary focus lies in breaking up opposition attacks and maintaining possession rather than creating goal-scoring opportunities. His average rating of 6.34 reflects a steady, if not spectacular, performance level, showcasing his reliability in the midfield. At 23 years old, Sietan continues to develop his skills and understanding of the game. His contract until June 2026 indicates that Waldhof Mannheim sees potential in his contributions. As he gains more experience in competitive matches, he can further establish himself as a key figure in the team's midfield dynamics.
