Jack Jenkins

Jack Jenkins serves as a central defensive midfielder for Halifax Town, where he plays a crucial role in the team's defensive structure. At 190 cm, his height gives him an advantage in aerial duels and physical battles, allowing him to break up opposition plays effectively and protect the backline. His right-footedness complements his ability to distribute the ball from deep, contributing to the team's transition from defense to attack. In the current season, Jenkins has made 17 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.41 over 336 minutes of play. While these statistics suggest he is still finding his rhythm in the squad, his steady presence in midfield is vital for Halifax Town's stability. He focuses on disrupting the flow of the opposing team's offense, making tackles, and providing cover for defenders, which is essential in the competitive environment of his league. Jenkins' journey reflects a path of development, having transitioned from Leeds United's U21 setup to gaining valuable first-team experience at Halifax Town. With a contract running until April 2026, he has the opportunity to further establish himself and grow in his role, potentially becoming a key figure in the team's midfield as he continues to gain experience at this level.
