J. Berner

J. Berner is a young right back currently playing for Hertha BSC, where he has made 15 appearances in the ongoing 2025/2026 season. Standing at 180 cm, he possesses a solid physical presence on the field, which supports his defensive responsibilities. His playing style is characterized by a focus on defense, as indicated by his current average rating of 6.49 across nearly 946 minutes of play. In his role, Berner contributes primarily through defensive work, but his offensive output is limited, with only one key pass recorded this season. This indicates that while he may not be heavily involved in the attacking phase, he is likely focused on maintaining defensive solidity and supporting his teammates in the back line. The young defender is still developing his game, and it will be interesting to see how he adapts and grows in his role. Having joined Hertha BSC II from Heidenheim U19 in 2024, Berner is still in the early stages of his career, gaining valuable experience at a competitive level. His progress will be closely monitored as he continues to develop his skills and find his place within the team.
