Issa Traoré

Issa Traoré currently plays as a central defender for Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the German 1.Bundesliga. In the ongoing 2025/2026 season, he has made one appearance, averaging a rating of 6.50 over 12 minutes on the pitch. This limited time indicates that he may be adjusting to the demands of a top-tier league while seeking to establish himself within the squad. As a central defender, Traoré's role is pivotal in maintaining defensive solidity and contributing to the overall structure of the team's backline. His experience in a competitive environment, having transferred from Djoliba to Leverkusen, suggests he possesses the foundational skills necessary for a defender, such as positioning, tackling, and reading the game. Given his current playing time and rating, he is likely in a developmental phase, working to gain more minutes and responsibility within the team. His ability to adapt to the Bundesliga will be crucial as he aims to enhance his contribution in future matches.
