Hiroya Matsumoto

Hiroya Matsumoto operates as a central defensive midfielder for Shonan Bellmare, where he plays a crucial role in the team's defensive setup. Standing at 177 cm and weighing 68 kg, he combines decent physicality with agility, allowing him to break up opposition play effectively. His preferred right foot suggests he is comfortable distributing the ball from deep, making him a key link between defense and attack. His average rating of 6.52 reflects a steady, if not standout, performance level as he continues to adapt to the demands of his role. Matsumoto's journey through various clubs has allowed him to gain valuable experience, contributing to his development as a reliable midfielder. As he continues his contract with Shonan Bellmare until June 2028, he has the opportunity to establish himself further in the league and enhance his impact on the team's overall performance.
