Henrique Araújo

Henrique Araújo is a 24-year-old striker currently playing for Benfica, where he is contracted until June 2027. Standing at 182 cm and weighing 75 kg, he possesses a solid physical presence on the pitch. His preferred right foot allows him to effectively finish chances, although his current season statistics reflect a challenging phase in front of goal, with just one goal in 20 appearances and an average rating of 6.54 over 218 minutes of play. His recent loan spells, including stints at Arouca and Famalicão, indicate a player in the process of finding his feet and developing his game. These experiences may provide him with valuable opportunities to gain consistent playing time and hone his skills. While he has yet to make a significant impact this season, his ability to adapt to different environments is a noteworthy aspect of his career thus far. As he continues his journey with Benfica, Araújo's role primarily revolves around providing depth to the attacking options and contributing when called upon. His future development will be crucial as he aims to increase his contributions on the scoreboard and enhance his overall performance.
