Hamza Mohamed

Hamza Mohamed plays as a central defensive midfielder for Maziya and represents the Maldives national team. At 31 years old, he brings experience and a steady presence to the midfield, often tasked with breaking up opposition plays and providing support to his defense. His role is crucial in maintaining the team's shape and allowing more attacking players the freedom to move forward. In the current season, he has made four appearances, averaging a rating of 6.26 over 339 minutes on the pitch. While these statistics suggest a solid, if not standout performance, they highlight his reliability in the middle of the park. His contributions may not always be reflected in goals or assists, but his ability to disrupt the flow of the opposition and shield the backline remains vital for Maziya's strategy. As a seasoned player, he is expected to leverage his understanding of the game to guide younger teammates. His experience can be a valuable asset, particularly in tight matches where tactical discipline is essential. Hamza continues to embody the qualities of a dependable central midfielder in his current role.
