Edoardo Soleri

Edoardo Soleri currently plays as a striker for Sampdoria, where he is on loan from Spezia. Standing at 192 cm and weighing 75 kg, he possesses a notable physical presence on the pitch, allowing him to engage effectively in aerial duels and hold off defenders. As a right-footed player, he tends to favor positioning himself to strike from the right side, although his current season reflects a struggle to find the back of the net, with only one goal in 31 appearances. In the ongoing 2025/2026 season, Soleri has logged 1,147 minutes of play, contributing 8 key passes, which highlights his ability to create opportunities for teammates despite his low goal tally. His average rating of 6.58 indicates that while he may not be having a standout season, he remains a consistent presence in the squad. Additionally, with 3 tackles and 1 interception, he shows a willingness to contribute defensively, which can be valuable for a forward. Overall, Soleri's role at Sampdoria is characterized by his physicality and playmaking ability, although he is currently seeking to improve his goal-scoring form. His situation on loan suggests an opportunity for further development and a chance to establish himself more firmly in the competitive environment of Serie A.
