Denis Portanova

Denis Portanova plays as a central defender for Sorrento, where he is beginning to establish himself in the current season. Standing at 184 cm, he possesses a solid physical presence that complements his role in the backline. His right foot is preferred, which likely influences his distribution and tackling approach when defending against opposing attackers. In the ongoing season, Portanova has made seven appearances, averaging a rating of 6.40 over 251 minutes on the pitch. While these ratings suggest he is still finding his footing, they also reflect a reliable presence in defense. His contributions are essential for maintaining the team's defensive structure, and as he gains more experience, he is expected to grow into a more impactful role. Having transitioned from Virtus Entella to Sorrento, Portanova has shown a commitment to developing his game at this level. His journey through various clubs indicates a steady progression, and he continues to adapt to the demands of competing in a challenging environment. As he gains more playing time and confidence, he has the potential to become a key figure in Sorrento's defense.
