David Ankeye

David Ankeye plays as a striker for Krasava ENY Ypsonas FC, where he is currently on loan from Genoa. At 191 cm and 84 kg, he possesses a strong physical presence on the pitch, which can be advantageous in holding off defenders and competing for aerial balls. His right-footed shooting ability makes him a threat in front of goal, although his average rating of 6.50 over 16 appearances this season suggests that he is still finding consistency in his performances. With 323 minutes played this season, Ankeye's role primarily involves positioning himself to capitalize on scoring opportunities. His experience with multiple loan spells indicates a journey of development, as he adapts to different styles of play and competition levels. Despite his youth at 23 years old, he is tasked with the responsibility of leading the line for his team, which is crucial in the context of their offensive strategies. While he may not be lighting up the scoreboard just yet, Ankeye's physical attributes and right-footed proficiency hold promise for further development. His current focus appears to be on gaining valuable playing time and refining his skills to become a more impactful player for both his club and his future career.
