Daniil Vashchenko

Daniil Vashchenko is a central defensive midfielder who currently plays for Oleksandria. At 20 years old, he is still in the early stages of his professional career, having transitioned from the U19 setup to the senior team. Standing at 174 cm and weighing 66 kg, he brings a compact physical presence to the midfield, which can be advantageous in breaking up opposition play and providing support to the defense. In the current 2025/2026 season, Vashchenko has made 11 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.31 over 728 minutes of play. While these statistics indicate he is still finding his footing in the senior squad, they also suggest he is gaining valuable experience in a competitive environment. His role as a defensive midfielder is crucial; he focuses on maintaining team structure, disrupting the opposition's flow, and facilitating transitions from defense to attack. Vashchenko's preferred right foot suggests he may favor playing passes and making tackles from that side, allowing him to utilize his strengths effectively. As he continues to develop his skills and gain more minutes on the pitch, he has the potential to become an integral part of Oleksandria's midfield.
