Daniel Stensson

Daniel Stensson plays as a central defensive midfielder for Djurgården, where he brings a solid presence to the midfield. Standing at 178 cm and weighing 76 kg, he combines his physicality with a tactical awareness that is essential for breaking up opposition plays. With a preference for his left foot, he is adept at distributing the ball from deep, providing a link between defense and attack. In the current season, Stensson has made 8 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.62 over 270 minutes of play. While these statistics show he is still finding his rhythm this season, his experience in various clubs, including Sirius and GIF Sundsvall, suggests he has a background that helps him adapt to different playing styles and environments. Stensson's role is crucial in maintaining defensive stability for his team. As a central figure in midfield, he is tasked with shielding the backline while also looking to initiate offensive plays. His contributions may not always be flashy, but they are vital for the overall balance and structure of the team. With his contract running until December 2027, he is likely to continue developing his impact at Djurgården in the coming seasons.
