D. Belalem

D. Belalem operates as a central defensive midfielder for ASO Chlef, where he has established himself as a key figure in the team's midfield. At 32 years old, he brings a wealth of experience to the squad, having accumulated significant playing time this season with 942 minutes across 11 appearances. His role involves breaking up opposition attacks and providing defensive stability, which is essential for the team's structure. His current contributions demonstrate a solid understanding of positioning and timing, allowing him to effectively disrupt the flow of the game for opposing teams. Belalem's experience is particularly beneficial in high-pressure situations, where his calmness under duress can help dictate the pace of play. While his offensive contributions may not be the primary focus, his ability to transition play from defense to attack is valuable. As a central defensive midfielder, he plays a critical role in linking the backline with the attacking players, ensuring that the team maintains a balanced approach. His contract until June 2027 indicates that ASO Chlef sees him as a long-term asset, likely due to his consistent performances and leadership on the pitch.
