Costinel Tofan

Costinel Tofan operates primarily as a right back for Argeş, showcasing a solid presence on the defensive flanks. Standing at 172 cm, he leverages his height and agility to engage effectively with opposing wingers. With a preferred right foot, he is well-equipped to make clearances and contribute to the team's buildup play from the back. In the current season, Tofan has made seven appearances, where he has averaged a rating of 6.79 over 482 minutes of play. This indicates a consistent level of performance, reflecting his reliability in the defensive line. Tofan’s defensive capabilities are complemented by his understanding of positioning and anticipation, allowing him to read the game well. While he may not be the flashiest player on the pitch, his contributions are vital to Argeş's overall strategy, combining defensive diligence with moments of offensive support when opportunities arise. As he continues his contract until June 2027, he remains a key figure in the team's plans moving forward.
