Connor Pani

Connor Pani is a left back currently playing for Gateshead, where he has made 13 appearances in the 2025/2026 season. At 22 years old, he is still developing his game, and his contributions include scoring two goals, showcasing his ability to join the attack from his defensive position. His average rating of 6.23 indicates that while he has moments of impact, there is room for improvement in his overall performance. Pani's role on the pitch is primarily defensive, yet he demonstrates an understanding of how to support offensive plays, evidenced by his goal tally. His experience from multiple loan spells, including time at Workington and Blyth Spartans, has likely contributed to his growth, allowing him to gain valuable minutes and adjust to different playing styles. As he continues to gain experience with Gateshead, Pani's potential to further develop his skills and consistency could enhance his contributions both defensively and offensively. His current performance suggests he is still finding his footing in the game, but his ability to score from the back indicates a promising aspect of his playing style that could be further refined.
