Borna Sosa

Borna Sosa plays as a left back for Crystal Palace, where his physical attributes, standing at 187 cm and weighing 79 kg, contribute to his commanding presence on the pitch. He is primarily left-footed, enabling him to deliver accurate crosses and maintain a strong defensive stance on that side. Sosa's playing style combines defensive solidity with the ability to support the attack, as evidenced by his current season's statistics. In the 2025/2026 season, Sosa has made 30 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.65. While he has recorded only three tackles, he has demonstrated his ability to contribute offensively with eight key passes throughout the season. His three interceptions indicate a level of defensive awareness, allowing him to read the game and disrupt opposing plays effectively. However, his numbers suggest that he is still finding his rhythm in terms of defensive contributions. Sosa's transfer history reflects a recent move to Crystal Palace from Ajax for €2.3 million, following a loan stint at Torino. This transition marks a significant step in his career, as he aims to establish himself in the Premier League. Currently, Sosa is working to solidify his role within the team and enhance his overall impact on the game.
