Billy Koumetio

Billy Koumetio serves as a central defender for Dundee and has quickly established himself as a reliable presence in the backline. Standing at an impressive 195 cm, he combines his height with a solid frame of 79 kg, allowing him to effectively challenge opposing forwards in aerial duels and maintain physicality in defensive situations. His left-footed preference enhances his ability to play out from the back, offering a natural balance to the defensive unit. In the current 2025/2026 season, Koumetio has made 16 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.86 over 1019 minutes on the pitch. This consistent performance reflects his growing importance to the team as he navigates the demands of competitive football. His contributions often go beyond mere defensive duties; he actively engages in initiating attacks from the back, showing an understanding of modern football's need for defenders who can contribute to build-up play. Koumetio's experience, gained through various loan spells and his time with Liverpool U21, has equipped him with a level of maturity that is evident in his decision-making. As he continues to develop at Dundee, he plays a crucial role in solidifying the defense while aiming to enhance his impact in the attacking phase of the game.
