Ben Hawighorst

Ben Hawighorst is a young central defender currently representing the Germany U17 team. At 185 cm and 76 kg, he possesses a commanding physical presence on the pitch, which is crucial for his role in defense. His preference for his left foot allows him to effectively distribute the ball and engage in tackles from the left side, enhancing his versatility in various defensive situations. In the current season, he has made five appearances, accumulating a total of 348 minutes on the field. His average rating of 6.18 indicates a solid, if not spectacular, start to his career at this level. This reflects his potential to grow and develop as he gains more experience in competitive matches. While he is still young and adapting to the demands of the game, he shows promise as a reliable option in central defense. As he continues to mature, Hawighorst will be expected to refine his skills further, particularly in areas such as positioning, decision-making, and aerial duels. His current contributions suggest he is on a path of development, and with time, he may become a key figure in his team's defensive setup. His contract runs until September 2024, providing him with a secure environment to focus on his growth in the game.
