Bart Meijers

Bart Meijers is a central defender currently playing for Wydad Casablanca in the Moroccan league. Standing at 185 cm and weighing 77 kg, he possesses a solid physical presence that aids him in aerial duels and defensive challenges. His preferred right foot allows him to effectively engage in tackles and clearances, making him a reliable option in the backline. In the current season, Meijers has made five appearances, accumulating 383 minutes on the pitch with an average rating of 6.31. While these statistics suggest he is still finding his rhythm, his experience across multiple clubs, including recent stints in both the Bosnian and Romanian leagues, indicates a player who is accustomed to adapting to different styles of play. Meijers' role as a central defender typically involves organizing the defense, winning headers, and distributing the ball from the back. His journey through various leagues has likely contributed to his tactical understanding and ability to read the game, essential qualities for a player in his position. As he continues with Wydad Casablanca until June 2026, he has the opportunity to further develop his contributions to the team.
