Atanas Trică

Atanas Trică is a 21-year-old striker currently playing for Universitatea Cluj in Romania's Liga 2. Standing at 191 cm, he possesses a notable height advantage, which he can leverage in aerial duels and physical confrontations. His preferred right foot allows him to strike the ball effectively, making him a threat in front of goal. In the current 2025/2026 season, Trică has made 21 appearances, contributing 1 goal and 1 assist. His average rating of 6.63 suggests he is a reliable presence on the pitch, though he has room for improvement in terms of his scoring and playmaking output. With a total of 746 minutes played, he is gaining valuable match experience, which is crucial for his development as a young player. Transitioning from CSM Slatina to Universitatea Cluj this year, Trică is in a formative stage of his career. His current role sees him working to establish himself as a key player in the squad. As he continues to adapt and grow, his physical attributes and developing skill set position him as a player to watch in the lower tiers of Romanian football.
