Arthur Masuaku

Arthur Masuaku currently plays as a left back for Lens, where he is on loan from Sunderland. Standing at 179 cm and weighing 70 kg, he possesses a physical profile that allows him to be agile and effective on the flank. His preferred left foot adds to his ability to deliver crosses and navigate the left side of the pitch, although his current season stats indicate he is more involved in defensive responsibilities. In the ongoing 2025/2026 season, Masuaku has made 15 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.49 over 437 minutes of play. His defensive contributions include 2 tackles and 3 interceptions, showcasing his ability to disrupt opposition attacks. Offensively, he has created 3 key passes, suggesting he has the capacity to support forward play when opportunities arise. While his experience at various clubs, including a stint at Beşiktaş and previous involvement with West Ham, has contributed to his development, his current role at Lens appears to focus on solidifying the defense while also providing some width in attack. As he continues to adapt to his loan situation, Masuaku aims to make a positive impact in the league.
