Álvaro Santos

Álvaro Santos operates as a left winger, showcasing his skills primarily on the flanks. At 21 years old, he brings youthful energy to his current side, Penafiel, where he is on loan from Lommel SK. His right foot serves as his preferred option, allowing him to cut inside and create opportunities for himself and his teammates. In the current season, he has made 28 appearances, contributing both with goals and assists—scoring four times and providing four assists. While his average rating of 6.52 indicates a steady performance, it suggests there is room for improvement in his overall impact on matches. With over 2,000 minutes played, he demonstrates a willingness to be involved and contribute consistently throughout the season. Santos's role as a left winger allows him to stretch defenses and exploit spaces on the pitch. His ability to deliver assists highlights his playmaking skills, while his goal tally shows he is also a threat in front of goal. As he continues to gain experience, he has the potential to further develop his contributions and become a more influential player in his team’s attacking strategy.
