Alex Petkov

Alex Petkov serves as a central defender for Kifisia, where he has made 18 appearances in the current season. Standing at an imposing 193 cm and weighing 83 kg, he brings a considerable physical presence to the backline. His right-footedness allows him to effectively engage in defensive duels and contribute to build-up play from the back. In his 1355 minutes on the pitch this season, Petkov has recorded an average rating of 6.63. This indicates that while he may not be a standout performer every match, he consistently provides a reliable defensive option for his team. His recent transfer to Kifisia from Śląsk Wrocław suggests that he is viewed as a player capable of contributing to a competitive squad. At 26 years old, Petkov is at a stage in his career where he combines experience with the physical attributes necessary for a central defender. His role is crucial in maintaining defensive stability, and he likely continues to develop his skills as he solidifies his position within the team and on the national stage for Bulgaria.
