Alejandro Rego

Alejandro Rego serves as a central midfielder for Athletic Club, where he has made 36 appearances in the current season, contributing one goal. Standing at 192 cm and weighing 79 kg, he possesses a physical presence that can be advantageous in the midfield battle. His height allows him to excel in aerial duels, while his right foot is likely his preferred tool for delivering passes and shots. In this season, Rego has accumulated an average rating of 6.73 over 1550 minutes of play, indicating a solid, if not spectacular, impact on the pitch. His role primarily revolves around maintaining possession and supporting both defensive and attacking phases of play. He is expected to provide stability in the midfield, linking up with teammates and contributing to the team's overall performance. Although he has only scored once this season, his contributions may extend beyond goals, including key passes and defensive efforts that help facilitate the team's strategy. As a young player at 22 years old, Rego is still developing his skills and understanding of the game, which could see him grow into a more influential role in the future.
