Darío Benedetto

Darío Benedetto plays as a striker for Barcelona Guayaquil, bringing a wealth of experience to the squad at 35 years of age. Standing at 177 cm and weighing 75 kg, he possesses a solid physical presence, which complements his role on the pitch. His preferred right foot allows him to execute precise shots and navigate through defensive setups effectively. In the current season, Benedetto has made 11 appearances, accumulating 572 minutes of playtime and achieving an average rating of 6.61. These stats indicate that he is actively involved in matches, contributing to the team’s attacking efforts, although his performance metrics suggest there is room for improvement. His experience in various leagues, including recent stints at Newell's Old Boys and Olimpia, has likely provided him with a diverse skill set and adaptability on the field. As Benedetto continues his contract with Barcelona Guayaquil until December 2026, he is expected to leverage his knowledge and tactical understanding to support his teammates and influence games. While he may not be at the peak of his powers, his veteran presence can be invaluable in guiding younger players and maintaining a competitive edge in the league.
